Dear HWW Students, Families and Community members,
It has been a busy week at Wise Wood as we wrap up courses and begin exams and credit recovery. Thank you to all students who came in for Demand time to get caught up on missed assignments.
Please ensure your student has reviewed the final exam schedule closely and is aware of the scheduled Credit Recovery opportunities. Our final day of classes is this Friday, January 19. Regular attendance will be taken. Students who are writing Science exams January 18 & 19 are asked to note their exam locations and times.
A big thank you to our School Council and our Fuel Your Brain parent/ guardian volunteers who have been busy in the Warrior Shop providing healthy, free snacks for students and a great start to their exams.
Students are reminded to bring picture ID and leave their cell phones at home when they come to write exams. Students will hand in textbooks before they enter their exam, at both the main office and front entrance.
We are hosting Grade 9 tours on Monday, January 29 and our Grade 9 Open House that evening. We are looking forward to welcoming our new Warriors!
Our Semester 2 courses will begin on Wednesday, January 31.
