About the Music Parents Society
The Henry Wise Wood Music Parents Society functions as an independent incorporated organization governed by the Societies Act, with a mandate of providing support to the Henry Wise Wood Music Program. All parents of music students at Henry Wise Wood High School are automatically voting members of the society upon their child's enrolment in the program. Music families have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fundraising efforts throughout the year organized by the society, including many where individual fundraising credits can be earned to apply towards music program fees and optional trip expenses. This organization currently holds the single Bingo License and Raffle License allowed by AGLC in support of Henry Wise Wood High School. Bingo and raffle revenue accounts for the vast majority of raised funds for the Society (and therefore the music program), and relies on parent volunteers to staff monthly bingos.
Fundraising and Volunteering Opportunities
Bingos
The Society currently holds 8 bingos over the course of the school year at Bingo Barn. Each event requires a minimum of 11 volunteers. These Bingos are a key revenue stream for the music program. There is also an incentive of a $50 fundraising credit for each bingo slot worked on behalf of a music program student.

This email address is also setup to accept e-transfers if you would like to make a program donation or pay for fundraising products without a credit card. Please always send an accompanying message with details of what the transfer is for.
