Dear HWW Students, Families, and Community members,

What an outstanding run of Romeo and Juliet to several packed houses. Accessible, heartwarming and brave, Mr. Shakespeare would be proud! Congratulations to Ms Ykema, Mr. Simon and all Cast and Crew.

Thank you to our Warriors who have been supporting community events and fundraisers– to our Interact Club presence at the Rotary Luncheon, our Growing Smiles Music Fundraiser, and our Film Fest students.

Our Track and Field team had a strong showing at the Track Meet last Thursday; Cities is this coming Saturday at Foothills. Sr Boys and Girls Rugby have wrapped up very honourable seasons, with Soccer, Field Hockey, and Jr Boys Rugby still in play. Thank you to all of our fans in the stands!

A big reminder for Grade 12 parents/guardians, your students should be aware of our mandatory Grad Rehearsal today Wed, May 22 period 4 in the main gym. This is a very important run-through of the Grad Ceremony.

A big thank you to our Parents/Guardians and our School Council for the beautiful hot breakfast for Staff Appreciation this past Friday. It was so appreciated and launched our day of learning in a good way.

This week we look forward to our Garden Blessing ceremony tomorrow with Elder, Dr. Bruce and Deanna Starlight, and to our Pep Rally on Friday. We will follow a modified schedule with 36 minute classes all morning, followed by Warrior Connect and Pep Rally from 12-2. Food Trucks will be on hand after school in the back parking lot.
