Principal's Message

With the many cultures and traditions represented in our school, there are many celebrations and significant dates at this time of year. We send best wishes to Warrior families who are honouring Lunar New Year, observing Ramadan, or celebrating Valentine’s Day. What a wonderful reminder of the importance of love, connection and community. Later this month we commemorate Pink Shirt Day, this year’s theme is “Sprinkle Kindness”. Tomorrow at Wise Wood will see delivery of Crush for a Crush and Candygrams by our Leadership students.

This week’s Clubs Day was well attended and a good opportunity for students to connect with a new Club. Thank you to all student leaders, organizers and staff sponsors.

We have completed “Spare 101” in the Courtyard for students who are on spares during a period of their day. Students who missed the Monday sessions are asked to see the main office during their spare.

Please note the upcoming Musical Theatre production of The Great All-American Musical Disaster. We are looking forward to sharing in the fun!

Just a reminder that this week is a short week of classes as our Teachers and Support Staff attend their respective conventions. There are a number of excellent sessions; it promises to be a wonderful learning opportunity as we continue to enhance our professional practice.

Have an enjoyable Family Day, we are grateful for our Warrior Family,
