Principal's Message - March 12

Dear HWW Students, Families and Community members,

In Warrior Athletics, we are so proud of our Athletes as we finish our basketball season with one gold, one silver, one semi-final and one quarter– final showing. Congratulations to all Coaches and Athletes. We wish all success to our Wrestlers for the upcoming Provincials this weekend and to our Badminton teams in their upcoming Meets. Currently forming are our Boys and Girls Rugby, Track and Field, and Boys Soccer teams. Go, Warriors!

Next week March 20 evening and March 21 morning, are our online School Conferences. Families will be able to sign up beginning Thursday morning at 9:30am. Please plan to bring your student to the online conferences. 

During Friday’s Warrior Connect, we held our Grade 12 Grad Virtual Assembly with updates about the Graduation Ceremony and Banquet coming up Friday, May 30. Please see the Graduation newsletter linked below.

One more reminder of our Spring drama production of Radium Girls running all this week, tickets are available in the Drama room.

As the spring weather is upon us, we just want to remind all our students and families about safe driving in our parking lot and surrounding roadways. There are more pedestrians and cyclists “sharing the road.” Also, students are reminded they need a parking pass to park in the student lot or they may be ticketed and towed.
