Principal's Message - March 5

Dear HWW Students, Families and Community members,

Thank you for the warm welcome back as I return from my deferred salary leave. it was a wonderful opportunity to focus on travel and time with family; I return refreshed and rejuvenated! We share such gratitude to outgoing Principal Teresa Martin for her incredible work in supporting and guiding our Warrior Family.

This week, a particular mention of our Athletics program and our Basketball playoffs. As I write, all four of our teams are in playoffs. Go, Warriors, Go!

Badminton season continues and Spring sports are getting underway.

Due to the current labour action, we have postponed our fire drill and lockdown practice. Additionally, our School Conferences will be held online March 20 and March 21. Sign up information to come next week.

Spring Show performances are underway next week, we are looking forward to an outstanding performance of Radium Girls, see information in the newsletter below.

Next week is Guest Teacher Appreciation and Support Staff Appreciation Week. We are so grateful for all of your work, and your remarkable care for students.

Best to all of our families who are observing Ramadan February 28-March 29. We also acknowledge International Women’s Day this weekend, and don’t forget to  “Spring Ahead” your clocks!
