Dear HWW Students, Families, and Community members,
As the season begins to shift to Winter, we honour many significant dates. Our Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held during Warrior Connect on Friday. Students will gather with their Warrior Connect teacher and classmates to commemorate this important day. Our Veterans’ Tea will be held on November 19. Each year, we look forward to welcoming our Veterans to share time with our students.
To provide some important and time sensitive updates:
- Fall Sports are resuming this week. Pls check with your athlete for game dates. A reminder of the Playoffs gate fee, cash only, $2 for students and $5 for adults. Go, Warriors!
- Term 1 is extended until November 21. More information to come on report card dates.
- School Progress Conferences will be held virtually on Friday, November 28 from 8am-2pm. Sign up to come Wednesday, November 19.
- January 2026 diploma exams have been cancelled by Alberta Education. Students may choose to write January diploma exams in April or June 2026.
- We will not be holding non-diploma final exams this semester.
- Semester one classes will be extended beyond the current date, information will be shared as soon as it is confirmed.
- In the absence of final exams for all grades, regular classes with required attendance will be held until the end of January.
