Dear HWW Students, Families, and Community members,

Dear HWW Students, Families, and Community members,

Each day I am reminded of the power of community.  And in recent days I continue to be appreciative of the strength of the Henry Wise Wood Warrior community and how it is we come together to support one another in times of need.  In good times and in sad times, we are there for each other.  In the coming days and weeks, please remember this as we all come to terms and deal with the loss of one of our Warrior students.

As we move towards this Thanksgiving weekend it is my hope that we are all able to take the time to pause and reflect on all we have to be thankful for.

Also, just a reminder that we have classes on Friday, and the school is closed on Monday, October 14, 2024.

Looking ahead on Wednesday, October 16, you will receive an invitation to sign up for our School Conferences being held on October 24 in person from 4:30pm-8:00pm and October 25 online from 9am-12pm.

There is indeed a great deal happening at the school – both in classes as well as in our vast extra-curricular programming. It is evidence that Henry Wise Wood is a rich and vibrant learning community that supports all learners in their learning journey.  I thank each of you—students, parents/guardians and staff for your positive contributions to our school community.  This does not go unnoticed.

With my deepest appreciation,

Teresa Martin

Principal
