Dear HWW Students, Families, and Community members, 

Glorious spring weather has arrived! Congratulations to our Sr Girls Basketball Team for an outstanding season and Silver in the Div 2 City Championship game. Thanks to all the families who came out to show their support; we have the best fans in the city. 

Congratulations to Olivia and Sam for their 1st and 4th place respectively in Wrestling Provincials. We are so proud of our Warriors.

Next week, March 21 and 22, will be our School Conferences. We are offering an evening of in-person bookings and a morning online. Please see the attached information letter for sign up. We look forward to the student learning conversations. 

During Friday’s Warrior Connect, we held our Grade 12 Grad virtual Assembly with updates about the Graduation Ceremony and Banquet coming up Thursday, May 30, included later in this newsletter.  

Our next School Council meeting is this Monday, March 18 at 6:30pm in the Courtyard in person and online. Special guest is our IB Coordinator, Glenn Finockio. Please see the School Planning Engagement information on page 4 of this newsletter to share your feedback on fees and school development planning, the survey is open until March 21.

We took part in our fourth of six fire drills this week; students and staff did an excellent job in following emergency procedures and exiting and re-entering smoothly.
