Dear HWW Students, Families, and Community members, 

We know that wellbeing precedes learning and that a sense of welcome and belonging at school is important to support student readiness to learn.

As a school with over 83 countries of birth, students have told us how important cultural representation is to them.

We are excited about our second annual Culture Day tomorrow, Thursday, April 25. This is brought to you by the Warrior Voice Council, Warrior Diversity Council and our HWW Leadership students.

Tomorrow, Warriors can get involved by:

· Wearing cultural attire/Warrior wear

· Checking out the Courtyard booths at lunch

· Attending a Dance performance in the Theatre at lunch

We look forward to a wonderful day of celebrating Culture.

On Friday, we honour Earth Day with a schoolyard cleanup & BBQ after school from 2:15-3:15pm. Warriors are invited to sign up on the QR codes through Warrior Connect.

Our Fine Arts team has been busy preparing for our Spring productions. Please see upcoming Wednesday Warriors for more information including a Jazz Night and Silent Auction this evening at HWW beginning at 6:00pm. We are proud to showcase the many talents of our Warriors.

IB exams begin April 25 and run until May 17. Our best to all of the students who are sitting these exams.
