Principal's Update
Dear Warrior Families...
I know it has been a heavy week. We continue to have support on hand for students, please refer to your email for additional community supports.
We know that the rhythm and routine of school is helpful for students. This week has seen our students participating in our 3rd Annual Calgary High School Film Festival. This 10 high school collab, showcasing music videos, short films and feature films. The comedy and special effects were of note. Well done, Mr. Simon, Ms Renyk and all student filmmakers. We are looking forward to Mamma Mia (reprised) and our Dance show this week, as well as many of our spring teams moving into playoffs.
Our IB Exam session has wrapped up smoothly. Thank you, Mr. Finockio and all supervisors. Well done, student writers.
A reminder of next week's Fire Drill on Thursday, May 28 at 11:30am.
Please note that at this time we have postponed the Pep Rally.

Last week, Mr. Beland's Business Ten class was visited by Tori English, a freelance Graphic Designer based out of Calgary. She shared with the students her expertise on the importance of user-centered design, user interface, and user experience as Business Ten students build websites in their E-Commerce module. Tori also gave students pointers on how to be self-employed, potential career avenues relating to website and graphic design, and how her own experiences as a student at Henry Wise Wood helped prepare her for her career. Huge shoutout to Tori for coming out, and we're so appreciative of the knowledge you shared with us!
